Bergen County, New Jersey Real Estate is Stable

Recently released statistics from New Jersey's multiple listing service (NJMLS) have shown that Bergen County real estate is stable.  The data indicates that the Bergen County market has not experienced a double-digit price decline and activity is actually up 49% from the previous quarter.

When comparing the second quarter of 2008 with the second quarter of 2007, NJMLS statistics show that 20 Bergen County towns experienced steady or rising average sold prices.  This is a great sign for our local market!  Some of these towns included: Rutherford, Old Tappan, Leonia, Mahwah, Fort Lee, Ramsey, Ho-Ho-Kus and Ridgewood.

This goes to show you that real estate in Bergen County is not in as big a slump as the media conveys.  To check out the full information visit: http://www.itsagoodtime.com/pdfs/stats730.pdf.
