New Home Sales Fall in August

We are in the midst of financial turmoil as the economy is slowly coming to a grinding halt and today comes more bad news in the real estate market.  Today the August Housing Report was released with unfortunate bad news.  The report details that new homes sales fell to the slowest pace in 17 years.  Additionally, the average sales price fell by the largest amount on record.  In August new home sales fell by 11.5 percent to the slowest sales pace since January 1991.
